We ensure minimum downtime for vessels under repair through our 24-hour day, seven days per week shifts. Throughout our welding facilities and our machine shops, our employees are experienced in all phases of marine work. Through our experienced shipyard personnel, we can quickly and efficiently respond to topside repair needs on everything from supply boats to deep sea vessels.
Our experienced supervisors and certified welding crew can perform piping installation, equipment setting/alignment and electrical works for the marine industry. Seaweld has an ongoing safety program that includes all its employee’s training in OSHA and client safety regulations.

The site has vertical and horizontal boring machines, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and key cutters. Combined with our welding equipment, these machines enable us to recondition all significant engine components.
ISO and ASME quality procedures require each job to be planned on check sheets or “travelers.” Jobs in progress are inspected and signed off at each stage and subject to a thorough final inspection before releasing to customers. All precision and test equipment is calibrated following Quality and safety requirements.

Reducing the need to dry dock a vessel for maintenance and repairs is fast becoming a worldwide trend in commercial shipping. Seaweld offers afloat inspections, repairs, class surveys, and replacement of stern seals and is also geared to cope with a growing demand for hull cleaning and propeller polishing, among others.
Our floating dock has a docking dead weight for vessels up to 126 meters in length, 20 meters in width and up to 5000 tons dead weight. Types of vessels ranged from tug boats, supply vessels, tankers, ferries, dredgers, and barges.
Engineering afloat is still considered one of the primary services provided inside and outside Ghanaian waters. A team of qualified personnel, supported by the experience of the Ship Repair Manager, is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
