Seaweld Engineering Limited, a service and solution provider in the Oil and Gas industry, has supported the National Immunization Campaign by giving New Takoradi Health Care Service vehicles to ease their movement in the National Immunization Project. This cause is geared towards awareness creation of immunization to make communities in New Takoradi, a suburb of Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana, better.

Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Alfred Fafali Adagbedu, Chief Executive of Seaweld Engineering Limited, said, “Our dedication and commitment to the National Immunization Campaign reiterates our promise to invest more into the communities we operate, reach out to people in need and promote high standards in the Oil and Gas industry”. By supporting this campaign, Seaweld has helped increase child immunization in the suburbs of Takoradi and helped promote health care in Ghana.

Supporting the national immunization campaign is in line with Seaweld’s Corporate Social Responsibility to promote welfare and solve pressing social issues in the communities in which it operates. Our CSR strategy always provides opportunities that can make a real difference to the development and sustenance of our people. The total number of children immunized was 1,239 between 4 and newly born.

Since its establishment in 2007, Seaweld has sponsored the construction and maintenance of a Homeless facility and invested heavily in children’s education and personal development in the Western Region of Ghana.
