Seaweld was awarded for its outstanding contribution to the Oil & Gas industry at the 2015 edition of the Ghana Oil & Gas Awards (GOGA) when the company was honored with the Engineering & Construction Company of the year award. The event was attended by the crème de la crème of the oil and gas industry players in Ghana at Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra on 11th December, 2015.

The awards recognize achievements from local and international companies involved in Ghanaian Oil and Gas sector and reward those that have played a defining role in moving the industry forward.

In an interview, the Chief Executive Officer of Seaweld Engineering, Mr. Alfred Fafali Adagbedu, expressed his appreciation for the award, saying: “there are over ninety-two (92) Oil & Gas Companies in Ghana and we feel very proud to be selected as Engineering & Construction Company of the Year. We want to thank our cherished customers for their loyalty and commitment to the Seaweld services over the years and commend our hardworking staff for their dedication and commitment to business excellence”.

Mr. Adagbedu added that Seaweld Engineering has an ambitious plan for rapid expansion and the company will continue to bring high-quality services & solutions to the broadest audience while setting new benchmarks for innovation, convenience, service and reliability in Ghana.

He further assured customers that Seaweld would continue to offer high-quality services & solutions at competitive prices with superior customer service. He dedicated the award to all customers, staff and stakeholders for making Seaweld Engineering proud.

Last year Seaweld Engineering won the Special Recognition Award for Exemplary Entrepreneurship. The company was nominated in the Oil & Gas Service Company and CEO of the year (upstream) categories this year. The GOGA awards are organized annually by Xodus Communications Ltd. with support from the National Investment Bank.
